Smart Docs Your Paperless Office!
Smart Docs is where patient communications are securely managed. This capability is required if any practice management software is to be used to create electronic dental records to operate a paperless dental office. Almost anything your computer can create, import or scan may be stored here with complete legal reliability and integrity. Other systems do not have the extensive flexibility or the legal integrity of our Smart Docs!
Once stored, an item may not be altered in anyway, although you may create a copy of an item, a medical history form, for example, edit and update it and then save the result as a new "document" with a new date and time stamp. You can store almost anything here: simple letters, prescriptions, waivers, consents, medical histories, including scans of such documents. You can also store multimedia case presentations, PowerPoint shows for example, and even recorded verbal statements made by patients through a simple $3.00 microphone and the sound recorder software built right into every Windows computer.
